The readers were once again stunned as Eiichiro Oda made his latest confession about one of the most hilarious plot armors inOne Piece. In a shocking revelation, Oda finally revealed why Monkey D. Luffy’s clothes stay intact when he transforms into his enormous Giant form.

This might sound like an irrelevant plot armor, which will never have any big consequences even in the far future, but curiosity killed the cat of aOne Piecefan. And of course, the answer to this labeled Oda as a verified troll. So what exactly did this legendary mangaka even answer that has made this huge ruckus?

Eiichiro Oda Ensures Luffy’s Di*k Doesn’t Come Out!

Eiichiro Oda has an interesting tradition with hisOne PieceVolumes: the “SBS” (Shitsumon o Boshuu Suru) corner. There, he answers fans’ questions, and at times exposes interesting facts and funny stories behind them. And as you might have already guessed, the latest reply from Oda inSBS 110 Editionleft fans flabbergasted.

A curious fan asked howMonkey D. Luffy’sclothes and sandals enlarge along with his body when using the Gomu Gomu no Gigant technique. Oda responded by saying that if Luffy’s clothes ripped off while transforming, his modesty would be compromised! Well, this candid response certainly made fans laugh or, at least, look on in amazement.

If Luffy’s clothes get ripped off when he gigantifies, his di*k’s gonna come out!

Oda’s uncanny humor and cracking jokes over himself have given him the reputation of a well-practiced troll. Despite or maybe perhaps because of this particular nature, Oda is one of the leading manga creators of today’s generation. His masterful skills in balancing fun and plot have won people’s imaginations all over the world.

Eiichiro Oda Claims He Never Uses Any Vulgar Word in His SBS Editions!

In this same volume, Oda quite literally declared that he does not, at any point, make use of dirty words in his SBS (Shitsumon o Boshuu Suru) Editions. This is pretty ironic as his recent response in SBS 110 clearly belies it. His frank use of the word “di*k” already nullified that statement.

Even after the evidence, Oda still claims to be a victim, acting dumbfounded and claiming that his assistant, Sanada, had used the offending phrases. He describes his utopian SBS as peaceful and idyllic, with wildlife and sunshine, where any vulgar language does not exist. However, fans are most definitely not buying into Oda’s act this time.

I really don’t remember it too well. If there’s anyone who said these, it’s Sanada. My ideal SBS that I’ve thought of is like a quiet forest, with sunlight filtering through the trees. A clean space filled with little birds and squirrels that’s playing around.

Oda’s humorous denial of this asked question added bonus comedy to this SBS Edition, cementing a reputation as a master troll. His ability to craft such humor, even in his storytelling, greatly accounted forOne Piece’sfantastic success. Fans have grown up to expect and enjoy this light-heartedness, but it has become part and parcel of the series’ entertainment. Oda’s continued playfulness continues to bring joy and captivate this huge audience.
