One place that you may not find right away is the vaults under the castle in Vernworth. These vaults hold items that can be extremely useful to players (especially early on in the game). Here’s how you may reach the vaults.

What Are The Vernworth Castle Vaults?
The Vernworth Castle Vaults are a set of vaults below Vernworth Castle that hold some interesting items you will want to obtain.First, you will want to enter the castle through the entrance in the Castle Gardens. This will bring you into the dining room, which you will want to take the door to your left (at the head of the table). Then enter the door directly to your right (you will see some swords in this room). Once here, just follow the stairs down, and you will reach the bottom of the stairs where the vault is.Right now, you will need a key to enter the vault.

Once inside the vaults, you will obtain the following items.
How Do You Get The Vault Key?
to obtain the vault key to get inside the vaults, you will want to complete the questTolled To Rest. This quest requires that you reach the Ancient Battleground and help Oskar ring the bell that needs to be rung inside the ancient castle.Once you reach the very last room of the quest (where the bell will ring), you’re able to find a Makeshift Vault Key in a chest.This is the key that you need to open the vaults.
You canforge the key, but you will only need one to get into the vaults.
