DualShockers Definitives: The 30 Best RPGs Of All Time
After weeks of debate and voting, DualShockers has assembled its list of the greatest, most influential, most important RPGs of all time.
Fell-Lord’s Bone is a high-level upgrade material, and you’re going to need it. The trouble is that these Fell-Lords are pretty tough foes. In addition to that, you’ll only find them at night in the open world, though you can find them at any time underground or in caves. If you want to collect this rare material, you’ll need to be prepared for a fight.

Dragon’s Dogma 2
How To Beat A Fell-Lord
Fell-Lords are deceptively difficult. In addition to having a lot of health, they’re also quite durable. You might expect long fights from the large creatures of the world, but this monster is likely to keep you busy for several minutes as well.Unlike large creatures, it doesn’t have any major weakpoints.
The Fell-Lord will make large, sweeping attacks. It will also occasionally pull its sword back over its head and charge up a vicious slam. If you’re not careful, this attack can take you or one of your Pawns out in a single hit. So, make sure you’re out of the way. Fortunately, this is a slow attack that’s telegraphed quite well. If a Pawn is knocked down by this attack, pull the Fell-Lord away and wait for an opportunity to get your Pawn back up. This should be possible, especially if you have another Pawn that can pull the Fell-Lord’s attention for a moment or two.

Since you’ll likely be fighting this enemy in the dark, keep your lantern on.Don’t let the chaos of darkness be your undoing. It’s easy to get hit with an attack you didn’t notice when you’re fighting in the dark. Keeping your lantern (and subsequently the lanterns of your Pawns) active will help mitigate any missteps. When in doubt, put some distance between yourself and the Fell-Lord. He doesn’t close the distance very quickly and his attacks are generally slow. Use these things to your advantage. If you need to, move in for small strikes and retreat when things get too hot.
There’s a high likelyhood your fight will attract the attention of phantoms or other undead. Be sure to deal with the smaller enemies as quickly as possible. Don’t let them chip at your health while fighting the Fell-Lord. As mentioned before, these are moments when you want to put some distance between you and the Fell-Lord in order to focus on fighting the smaller enemies.

As for finding Fell-Lords, we have the location of one near Checkpoint Rest Town, though there are plenty more out in the world. This one happened to be standing right on top of a Seeker Token, so that’s a little bonus reward for your efforts.Once you’ve defeated the Fell-Lord, you’re free to collect the Fell-Lord’s Bone and be on your merry way. Searching caves, graveyards, and hidden areas at night will yield the best result when looking for one of these monsters. Just be sure your party is healed up and ready for a fight.
Other Ways To Get Fell-Lord’s Bone
The Fell-Lord’s bone can also drop from Skeleton Lords, Specters, and Sludge, though the drop rate is extremely low. You can also acquire this upgrade material from various shops for 1,000 gold a piece. This item can stack up to 99 in your inventory, though gathering so many would be quite a feat.
