Dragon Age: The Veilguard Launch Trailer
The fate of Thedas will be decided soon.Dragon Age: The Veilguard releases October 31 on consoles and PC.
In recent years, N7 days has been used as time when trailers for theupcoming Mass Effectgame have been released. 2024 is going to be different, however, as BioWare has confirmed that the launch of Dragon Age: The Veilguard will result in a quieter N7 Day.

A smaller N7 Day isn’t too surprising, considering its proximity with the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which launched on October 31.
Had the new Dragon Age been releasedearlier in the year, then it might have been a different story.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Is Taking The Spotlight In 2024
BioWare and EA will want as much attention on Dragon Age: The Veilguard as possible, especially following thegame’s positive reception. Any announcements about the new Mass Effect will take attention away from it.
Remastering Dragon Age Games For a Collection Challenging Due To Different Game Engines
BioWare admits they would love to see a Dragon Age Collection, but it’s challenging due to the different tech used by the games.
This doesn’t mean that there won’t be anything new about the upcoming Mass Effect during N7 Day. There’s a good chance BioWare could release some new concept art for the setting, as has been done in previous years.

“It’s only a few days until#N7Dayand this year will be quieter because of launch. Be sure to check back then for a little fun, though!”
It’s unlikely that there will be any teasers, trailers, release windows, or even an official name for the new game. Anything too big is going to overshadow Dragon Age: The Veilguard, so it will be a more low-key year.

It’s good that BioWare is managing the hype levels for N7 Day in 2024, as doing less would result in complaints about no announcements.
The fact that fans have seen so little about theupcoming Mass Effectmeans that it’s not ready for public consumption just yet, and showing too much this far out will just leave people frustrated.
It might be a few years before everyone can return to outer space, but at least there’s a new Dragon Age to keep people entertained until the ship is ready to launch.
