The impact of Young Kratos from the God of War series sort of faded following the 2018 installment of the game. However, he didn’t just became famous in the GoW universe, but Mortal Kombat is responsible for making him popular as well. As feared as he is, and as much as the gods may want to kill him, they also respect him, as was seen during hisfirst appearance in the franchise’ soft reboot.

The character has been praised by critics who have loved his attitude and the storyline of the God of War games. Kratos’ ascension to Mount Olympus in the initial title is usually seen as the most prominent moment throughout his story. As the narrative shifted from Greek mythology to Norse mythology, he developed a touch of tenderness, no matter how much he tries to hide it.
And now, it appears Kratos might be making a comeback to the Mortal Kombat franchise, if Ed Boon is hinting at a return.
