Diablo 4’sfirst season has given us a ton of information about how seasons will work in this iteration of Sanctuary. Instead of replaying the campaign infinitely, players will be given additional content in the form of Season Quest Lines. Season of the Malignant, Diablo’s first season, will introduce a new boss, Aspects, andUnique Items.

To get access to all this shiny new content, players need to participate in the Season Quests and Objectives, but how? Keep reading for everything you need to know about starting your Season Journey in Diablo 4 and how long you can expect to play before completing it.

To keep this article comprehensive & accurate, we’ve revised it with all the details about Seasonal Quests post-launch.
How To Access Season Content
To access Season Content, players need to meet a couple of prerequisite criteria.
Once you meet those conditions, you’ll be able to start the new content in the Seasonal Realm. Make sure to maximize yourRenownbefore you start, as much of it will carry over!

Where To Find Diablo 4: Season Of The Malignants Quests & Objectives
The main NPC for this quest line will beCormand, an ex-priest of the Cathedral of Light.However, the first quest is picked up from a townsperson named Vystan next to theKyovashad Waypoint.If you lose track of where to go, the quest will show up in your Journal, whereyou can track itto highlight the quest marker on the map.
Outside the new quest line, there are also Season Objectives, which earn you experience, gold, and Favor. These are found in the Season Tab, which will show up on the escape screen along with theMap, Clan, and Shop pages.

All Season Of The Malignant Objectives
There are a total of Seven Chapters of the Seasonal Journey, each with 8–13 Objectives. In contrast to the multitude of Seasonal Objectives, there are only a handful of Quests in the Seasonal Story. Several of these are gated behind checkmarks in the Seasonal Journey, however, so the time commitment will still be substantial.

Seasonal Questline
How Long To Beat Diablo 4: Season Of The Malignant?
The Season Journey in Diablo 4 is broken into Seven total Chapters, each with8–10 objectives. However, you don’t need to complete every single objective in a chapter - we know that you’ll only need tocomplete seven of nine for Chapter One.Because these objectives vary in difficulty and time requirement, there is no specific answer to how long you should expect this to take. As for the Battle Pass, developers say this will take players around80 hours to complete.
