Destiny 2: Sundered Doctrine Guide
Delve into Rhulk’s pyramid again and drive back the Dread.
Since they are still relatively new, Sundered Doctrine’s weapons haven’t broken into the meta as well as the weapons of theprevious dungeon, Vesper’s Host,or the amazing sidearmIndebted Kindness from Warlord’s Ruin.Still, they have a lot of potential and might be worth keeping while you’re farming for Finality’s Auger to drop.

These weapons also have the Subjugation origin perk, which adapts its behavior based on the target. Here are the god-rolls you might want to keep an eye on.
The main focus of the god rolls are the third and fourth column perks. The first and second perks, along with the masterwork don’t change the weapons' behavior unless you’re a perfectionist when it comes to rolls.

Niche But Powerful
Masterwork
Assault Mag
Destabilizing Rounds OR Envious Arsenal
Demoralize OR Bait and Switch

Accurized Rounds
Closing Time
While most shotgun users might prefer the regular buckshot, slug shotguns have always been a niche category and can be quite the hit-or-miss when it comes to the meta, both in PvE and PvP.
Whether you’re using a hot-swapping technique during DPS or want to use it to style on your opponents in the Crucible, Unvoiced has perks that cater to both playstyles.

Unvoiced is a void slug shotgun that has a more predictable recoil pattern. Much like its brethren, this shotgun can deal massive critical damage up close so long as your aim is good. It’s also a pretty solid contender againstRoot of Nightmare’s own void slug shotgun–Nessa’s Oblation.
As a slug shotgun, Unvoiced is perfect for dealing massive damage to single targets. With Destabilizing Rounds and Demoralize, you’ll be able to slay major enemies while dealing collateral damage against surrounding adds.
If you’re looking to use it exclusively for boss damage, then Bait and Switch and Envious Arsenal might be the perks you’ll want to roll with so that you’ll never have to reload while you get up close and personal with bosses like Taniks.
There are already plenty of strong PvP slug shotguns like the Chaperone, but if you’re looking to use another exotic and have Unvoiced as your shotgun of choice, then Lone Wolf and Closing Time help supplement the few special ammo rounds that you spawn with.
Summon Lightning From Afar
Rolling Storm OR Voltshot
Zen Moment
Sandwiched between Randy’s Throwing Knife andTrusteein the Light.gg’s database,Unworthy is the second most popular rapid-fire frame scout rifle in the game. With a 260RPM and tons of potentially hard-hitting damage perks, this scout rifle can roll with Firefly, which triggers a solar explosion on any precision kill.
As it is an Arc scout rifle, your top PvE choices for Unworthy should be Rolling Storm or Voltshot, depending on whether your build emphasizes Bolt Charges or the Jolt effect.
Rolling Storm might be a more consistent perk to roll with, as Voltshot requires reloading to trigger, and can only trigger once per kill. Meanwhile, Rolling Storm triggers passively, allowing you to periodically summon lightning strikes.
Those who are looking for a PvP roll might find Keep Away and Zen Moment useful, though there are certainly better scout rifles for PvP.
Imma Firin' Mah Lazar!
Enhanced Battery
Rewind Rounds
Detonator Beam
Do Not Use!
Trace Rifles, like slug shotguns, have a very specific niche to fulfill. Because they don’t deal massive amounts of burst damage and use special ammo, they’ve more or less been relegated to utility weapons rather than damage dealers.
Still, Trace Rifles can be useful when you’re trying to deal sustained damage against adds and larger enemies. Detonator Beam is the Trace Rifle’s version of Kinetic Tremors, as dealing sustained damage creates an explosion around the target. Combined with Rewind Rounds, you’ll be able to take out large crowds of enemies before you have to reload.
The origin trait gives the weapon explosive rounds against red bar enemies, so this combination makes it an add clear monster.
For PvP players, do yourself a favor and ignore this weapon. Trace Rifles have always been at a weird place in the Crucible, and with Lodestar’s addition, you’re able to just use any other special weapon.
Strand Burst Cannon Goodness
Flared Magwell
Dragonfly OR Hatchling
Frenzy OR Tear
Ricochet Rounds
Heavy Burst Hand Cannons are a relatively new addition to the hand cannon family, andUnloved is the first Strand burst hand cannon. While this archetype might be a favorite amongst Lucky Pants Hunters, Unloved is best used as an add clearing weapon in PvE, most notably with perks like Dragonfly and Hatchling, which can make it an effective tool against minor foes.
For most PvE content, you might be happy with just going for Elemental Honing or Frenzy, which boost your outgoing damage even more, with Elemental Honing better suited for Prismatic builds. The other perk, Tear, makes Unloved a more utility weapon thanks to the Sever debuff. With that said, Frenzy would be the most consistent pick.
For PvP players, burst hand cannons aren’t exactly the meta due to their painfully slow reload speed. Since Unloved only has Rapid Hit and Outlaw as possible reloading perks, combining it with Kill Clip might be your best bet.
