The Diamond Medallion is a brand-new achievement in Guardian Games 2024. It is the first time that Bungie has implemented such a high-value item in the competition to allow the dedicated players to help their class and encourage players to engage in certain activities for a longer period.
How To Get Diamond Medallions
First of all, you need tomeet Eva Levantein theTowerand receive theContender Cardfor Diamond Medallions. This will be available after completing the initial quests of Guardian Games. Every time in the week, one Contender Card for Diamond Medallion will be obtainable. Now, equip your class item, which is the wearable item you receive the first time you meet Eva Levante. The class item is a Guardian Games Cloak for Hunters, a Bond for Warlocks, and a Mark for Titans. You must wear it or you will earn no Medallions.
There arethree major waysto get up tothree Diamond Medallions each week. The first Diamond Medallion is dedicated to thePvE activities of Guardian Games, while the second one belongs to the competition’sPvP activities. You need to show a great performance and try these modes out multiple times to finally lay your hand on the Diamond Medallion, as the drop chance is quite low.
The third and final Diamond Medallion of the weekcan only be earned through Twitch. If you watch Destiny 2 streams with drops enabled for2 hours, you will be eligible to receive a Diamond Medallion, which can be contributed to your favorite class. This one, obviously, does not require a Contender Card.
Bungie has limited the number of achievable Diamond Medallions to 3 per week, as they are pretty strong at altering the position of your class and changing the overall result of the table each day. So, each player will only have three chances to significantly boost the position of their favorite class in 7 days.
Other than helping to push your class up in the ranking table, depositing Diamond Medallions alsoguarantees a Memento drop, which is a special Guardian Games customization item.
