AmongDemon Slayer’scolorful cast of characters, the Hashira stand tall above all others. The strongest of the Demon Slayers, and perhaps the weirdest too, these eccentric characters bring a new kind of life to the show whenever they come on screen.

Demon Slayer: Every Hashira Ranked Based On Strength

Every Hashira in Demon Slayer is a nightmare for the demons, but here’s how each of them stands against the other in terms of strength.

During the Mugen Train arc, we got the Flame Hashira, Rengoku. We got very well-acquainted with the Sound Hashira, Tengen, during the Entertainment District arc. And during the Swordsmith Village arc, we have two Hashira vying for our attention; the Mist Hashira, Muichiro, and the Love Hahira, Mitsuri Kanroji.

The Love Hashira’s Life

Early Childhood

Mitsuri had a very fulfilling and happy childhood. She had two loving parents and five younger siblings, all of whom supported her and loved her for who she was.Despite the fact that she had an abnormal amount of strength, her family never made her feel excluded and didn’t envy her for her strength.

In fact, they supported and encouraged her to continue the way she was. They fed her as much as she wanted to eat and even cheered her on when she arm-wrestled fully grown adults. All in all, the Love Hashira had a very loving childhood.

Young Adult

The twilight years of her life came to an end when Mitsuri reached the age of 17. As a young woman, she was looking forward to her prospective marriage. However, her would-be-suitor rejected her in a very rude and brutal way, causing her trauma and prompting her to change her appearance.

She dyes her beautiful pink hair (yes, that’s her natural hair color) into a boring black color. She pretends to be weaker than she really is and stops herself from eating too much. Though she does find a person who wants to marry her this way, she decides not to go through with it because she doesn’t want to live like that for the rest of her life/ She joins the Demon Slayer Corps instead, rising quickly and gaining the title of Hashira.

Swordsmith Village Arc

Mitsuri comes to the Swordsmith village to get her sword repaired by the chief since he is the one who made it in the first place. Before the demon invasion starts, she gets deployed but is thankfully stationed nearby, letting her come back to the village quickly.

First, she defeats the subordinates ofUpper-Rank 5 Demon, Gyokko, and saves the village chief. Later, she joins Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya in fighting theUpper Rank 4 Demon, Hantengu. She joins the battle just in the nick of time to save Tanjiro before he gets crushed by the wooden dragons ofZohakuten, one of Hantengu’s personalities.

Demon Slayer: Does Genya Eats Demons?

Genya is truly a fascinating character.

She holds back the powerful enemy, giving Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya a chance to chase after the main body of Hantengu and decapitate him to kill all his personalities as well. During this fight, she somehowawakens her demon slayer mark, giving her a boost in power and overall physical capability.
