Aniplex has shared a new trailer forDemon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicleswhere we can see the three popular characters fromKimetsu GakuenTanjiro, Nezuko, and Giyu playable in the versus mode.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Kepputan, also known as theDemon Slayer: The Hinokami Chroniclesis a video game developed by CyberConnect2 and is based onDemon Slayermanga/anime.

TheDemon Slayergame, which was earlier released only for Japan, is getting an English language release this year.

In the latest trailer shared by Aniplex, for theDemon Slayergame:Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, we can see three characters inKimetsu Gakuenattire joining the game as playable characters.

The three popular characters fromKimetsu Gakuen,namely, Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, and Giyu Tomioka, can be seen in the game’s “Versus Mode.”

In theVersus Mode, players can spar as any two characters from the anime, including in a 2v2 match with up to two players in offline or online mode.

For the unacquainted,Kimetsu Gakuenis a spin-off ofDemon Slayerwhere characters live in a peaceful modern world. The Hashira play the role of teachers and Tanjiro’s generation of characters are the students of this academy.

The official description for the newDemon Slayergame trailer narrates the story of all the three characters where Tanjiro Kamado is the boy who won’t remove his late dad’s ear studs even it is against school guidelines.

Nezuko Kamado fromKimetsu Gakuenis the young lady with French bread in her mouth who cannot wake up early morning, and Giyu Tomioka is the physical education teacher whose teachings are a bit too Spartan.

These three characters are a fan favorite so a lot of people were waiting for it.Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chroniclesand its Versus Mode is planned for a2021 releaseon PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. However, the game is not coming to Nintendo Switch.
