WhileDelta Forcewas initially announced as a free-to-play military shooter set to release on PC, consoles, and mobile devices, the console version of the game was delayed and subsequently vanished from discussion, with the developersonly briefly mentioningthat they’re still working on it.
That changed earlier this week, when Team Jadeteased the existence of the game’s console versionon social media.

Today, that has changed, as the developers have finally marked a release date for Delta Force on consoles.
Delta Force Console Versions Dated For August
Team Jade has confirmed that Delta Force is launching on consoles on June 06, 2025. This will include theBlack Hawk Down single-player campaign, which was released earlier this year as free DLC on PC.
Interested players can wishlist the game on consoles starting June 28.

This is good news following Team Jadeciting fairness issuesas the main culprit as to why the console version of the game has been delayed.
That’s not the only thing on the way for Delta Force players, as Team Jade also announced a new season is on the way, and it’s the game’s largest yet!

Launching on July 9, players on PC and mobile will receive the Season Break update, which Team Jade calls its largest patch for the game yet.

Season Break features will include not just new maps, but a new Operator, new features such as being able to swim and dive, and more.

Same as with every major patch, this will also include bug fixes, gameplay improvements and more.
There’s also a new crossover with Arknights planned as new cosmetics for players set for release this summer.

With the game’s console release, the game’s player base should increase considerably, making matchmaking faster and more efficient.
