Rob Liefeld drew Ladypool in 2010. He and his wife were watching Gossip Girl and so he drew Ladypool based on me. And Deadpool was not a real movie at this time. It was something Ryan wanted to make. Ryan and I were… I don’t even think we had met at that point.

We ended up shooting Green Lantern after that, Deadpool was just not, you know, anything anything we ever thought would happen. I didn’t even know that he drew Ladypool. So, it was a very, it was just one of those things where the universe just, you know, has a sense of humor.
Lively andTaylor Swiftwere the two fan predictions ever sincethe makers teased Ladypool in the trailer. However, the character never took off her mask in the film, and she was played by a stunt artist. After Lively’s revelation, fans would agree that it was a role tailor-made for her.
