Cyberpunk 2077features an overwhelming number of side quests, some of which can affectthe game’s endings, but most provide unique storylines that distract from the main campaign in a good way. One such quest is Beat on the Brat, which involves meeting with Coach Fred in Megabuilding H10 to tackle a few fights throughout the game. The quest will take players to various districts, tackling human and robotic opponents in their quest for glory and dominance.

Beat on the Brat Quest Guide
Beat on the Brat features five parts: Kabuki, Arroyo, Rancho Coronado, The Glen, and Pacifica. Players must beat each area to complete the entire quest, culminating in a final fight with Razor Hugh in Pacifica.
But to kickstart the quest, players must first speak with Coach Fred in Megabuilding H10. Depending on how far players are into the main story quest before tackling Beat on the Brat, everyone should remember Megabuilding H10 as V’s first apartment. Upon heading down into the common area, players will run into Coach Fred offering to set V up with a fight. Speak with him here and now to begin the grueling series of fistfights.

Beat on the Brat: Kabuki
The first fight in Beat on the Brat, held in Kabuki, is relatively straightforward. To get started, follow the quest marker on the map to find the fight location atop a roof where the twins are waiting.
To begin, walk up to the two, place a bet of 500 or 1000 eddies if interested, then start the unarmed fight with the twins.
Using a strong attack will stun the twins temporarily, which can whittle the fight down to a one-on-one for a short period. Furthermore, use dodges to put space between one or the other twin at any given time.
Beat on the Brat: Arroyo
The next fight is in Arroyo, and it’s a tough one. The opponent, Buck, doesn’t utilize any special abilities or quirks in his fighting style, but he hits like a truck. For beating him, players will receive some eddies, street cred, and experience. However, a specific dialogue option for those with a five in Body will unlock the opportunity to bet $12,000 eddies and a sniper rifle.
Buck loves to throw power attacks, which V cannot block or parry without taking some damage. It’s best to dodge, then leap forward to strike a few times before backing up again. Rinse and repeat!
Beat on the Brat: Rancho Coronado
If players thought Buck was tough, wait for Rhino. Players cannot place a bet this time, as Rhino does this for sport, not money.
Like Buck, Rhino hits hard and keeps on trucking. Don’t bother moving in for the attack if she puts her block up. She’s all but invulnerable to strikes in a defensive stance, so players will want to keep moving, striking fast whenever an opening appears.
At the beginning of the round, do not give Rhino a chance to act—move in for a quick strike, which will knock her back, then follow up with four more punches in quick succession.
Beat on the Brat: The Glen
The fight in The Glen cheats a bit, so prepare accordingly. The opponent, El Cesar, can teleport short distances, which he’ll often use as a dodge and sneak attack to gain the upper hand. When he blinks, dodge away to avoid the follow-up punch. After the dodge, he’s vulnerable for a short period, so players can push forward and strike three of four times. Don’t risk going for a fifth shot, as El Cesar will only allow up to four strikes.
If you win this one, El Cesar offers up the cash V is owed alongside his vehicle. But players have a choice. If we eavesdrop before the fight, we learn that El Cesar is struggling financially and, as such, players can choose to take the car but not the money, or take the money but not the car, or neither. It’s up to the player to decide whether they want to cash in or move on.
Beat on the Brat: Pacifica
The final fight occurs in Pacifica, specifically in Grand Imperial Mall, where Ozob awaits. The trick here is that Ozob will scale in difficulty with the player, so it all depends on level and combat abilities. Furthermore, Ozob hits harder than any previous enemy, tackling V in anywhere from one to three hits. As such, the best plan is never to take a hit.
A strong attack will cause Ozob to stumble, which opens the door for a follow-up strike or two. Regardless, Ozob has a sizable health pool, which makes for a long fight. Players must carefully time each dodge accordingly, then strike when the opening arises. Keep this tactic up, and perhaps invest a few points into Street Brawler beforehand to win.

Tackling Razor Hugh
The final fight of Beat on the Brat against Razor Hugh is entirely optional. But it’s a fun one! Upon finishing the fights in Kabuki, Arroyo, Rancho Coronado, and The Glen, V will receive a text from Coach Fred setting up the big fight. If players pay close enough attention to the game world, they’ll notice fight posters pinned up across the city.
Upon arriving at the boxing ring in Pacifica, players will note that each boxer previously beaten is here to watch, along with Viktor the Ripperdoc. Players can talk to each of them, though it’s optional.
Here’s the kicker! Before the fight, speak with Coach Fred. He offers a chance to throw the contest and win some extra cash but at the expense of street cred. It’s entirely up to the player which path they take. That said, Razor is tough. He’s more complicated than any previous fight, including Ozob.
Purchase and install Gorilla Arms Cyberware to ensure an advantage over the opponent.
Viktor will provide some helpful advice, claiming that a punch to the gut will stagger Razor. It does, so take advantage of that fact. Like with Ozob, this fight is one of attrition. attempt to dodge and parry where possible, then move in for a strike when the opening arises. A few points into Body and Street Brawler can make a significant difference here.
Whittle down Razor’s health with well-timed strikes, and keep out of arm’s reach. Before players know it, their opponent is down for the count!
