The new Power of Love event is now live, and it will be around until next Monday (Feb 19) with a challenge version of it arriving this weekend with even more Season Tokens to collect. Of course, there is going to be a special cosmetic reward at the end of the challenge as well!

Best Decks For Power Of Love Event
This week’s event revolves around a field buff thatspawns every 15 seconds. Each player receives one instance of this Love buff somewhere on their side, andthe first unit to pick it upby either spawning over it or passing through itwill begin to create lovers!
Every 5 seconds, the unit carrying the buff will send outa Love pulseto a certain radius, and each enemy unit inside the radius will becomea lover, which meansthey turn into your unit and attack their own base. This corruption will last for around3 to 4 seconds, and then the lover will turn hostile to kill your own troop until another love pulse arrives.
You might find this a bit confusing in the beginning, but after a few matches, you will learn the rules. The best way to benefit from the love buff and its corrupting pulses is to add either rushing troops or die-hard units to your deck.
Deck 1: Bandit And Little Prince
Your main job with this deck is to acquire the Love buff on your side as soon as possible with theHog Rider. If Hog Rider is not in your beginning cards, then get the buff with eitherRoyal GiantorBandit. Now, if your opponent has not grabbed their buff yet, drop yourLittle Princeon the opposite side of the buff’s location at your arena, and then press tospawn his Guardianas soon as possible. This way, the Guardian will push towards the buff over the river, and you will own both buffs at the beginning of the match, which is a huge advantage.
Another tip to keep in mind is that you shouldnever confront an enemy troop with a Love buff directly. For this purpose, you will want to use your Firecracker, Princess, andLittle Prince, who candeal ranged damage without entering the buff carrier’s pulse range. This will save your troops from becoming a lover and attacking your own towers.
Deck 2: Zappies And Sparky
Similar to the previous deck, you need to grab your own Love buff withHog Rideragain, but if you don’t have it in your hand at the beginning, you may useBattle RamorSparky. On the other hand, you will haveSkeleton Barrelto acquire the opponent’s buff, before they can grab theirs.
With this deck,Zappies and Lightningwill act as your line of defense. Tornado will also come to help to buy you some more time. Clone, on the other hand, is a great spell to double your love carrier. This, of course,will not double the buff, but since the opponents will target the main love carrier once it crosses the bridge, you can use Clone to double the unit numberwhen it actually reaches the crown tower. It’s best to use Clone onHog Rider or Skeleton Barrel.
