Clash Royale’s Season 59 is already live, adding Wizard’sCard Evolutionto the game along with a new spell that is also connected to the Wizard as part of the game’s lore. The new Evolution will protect the Wizard with a magical shield that deals significant AOE damage and knocks back enemies after being destroyed.

Introducing poisonous Firecracker!

That is the only new thing about the evolved Wizard, as the basic stats like fire rate, damage, and attack range remain the same as before. However, the shield is already a big change. Aside from its knockback damage, the shield also counts as added Hitpoints to the Wizard, which helps him survive longer on the battlefield. The evolution features a cycle of 1, which means you get the Evolved version in hand after using the normal version only once.

5Wizard And Archer Queen Deck

Going Invisible!

Archer Queen might be a bit costly when it comes to Champion cards, but if you use her ability at the right time, she is quite powerful in both attacking and defensive scenarios. In this deck, Elite Barbarians play a crucial role in dealing damage to the opponent’s crown towers, but they can also become a defensive unit to deal with any upcoming giant, be it a Mega Knight or a Golem.

You can use Miner just before pushing with Archer Queen to force the crown tower to focus on the Miner, and then activate the Queen’s ability to deal significant damage to the tower. Supporting Queen with a Firecracker is also a good idea.

But going back to Wizard himself, he will be more of a defensive unit in this deck, dealing with any possible spam unit or flying creatures. Combined with Electro Wizard, the two ranged damage dealers can deal with any real threat coming your way.

4Wizard And Prince Deck

Sneak Through The Chaos With Wall Breakers

If Prince even performs a single attack on an opponent’s crown tower, that will be critical damage, and that’s why it is a good option to force the opponent to use more Elixir than enough to counter it. In order to out-Elixir the enemy, you should pair the Prince with a Firecracker, and once they are on the other side of the bridge, drop Wall Breakers to push forward as well.

This is one way of attacking with this deck. The other way involves Knight getting support from both Wizard and Firecracker. Again, when Knight passes over the bridge, you can deploy Elixir Golem between Knight and the supporting duo to aim the crown towers for you. This works best in the double-elixir phase.

3Wizard And Mega Knight Deck

Relying On The Mega Jumps

Being one of the most hated cards in Clash Royale, Mega Knight looks quite scary for most players in this game, and there is indeed a reason for that. Similar to Prince, players usually do everything to counter a Mega Knight, and this mostly puts them in an out-Elixired state.

Similar to the first deck of the list, Wizard will mostly play a defensive role here, as you will need to push with Mega Knight in front, supported by a Night Witch that has already been spawned behind King’s Tower. The bats coming out of Night Witch are quite crucial for a successful push. If you face more spams around Mega Knight you can drop a Poison, otherwise, deploying Mini Pekka, Royal Ghots, or Hog Rider would be a better option.

2Wizard And Musketeer Deck

Classic And Elixir-Friendly

This is a classic deck in Clash Royale with the ability to deal with any kind of threat, no matter where it is coming from. While the deck is mostly defensive-focused, Goblin Barrel could be a good option for dealing damage over time. If it gets countered by The Log, then you will need to start pushing with Baby Dragon in front, supported by Wizard and Musketeer.

Valkyrie is your only heavy damage dealer, which is why it’s best to save her for defensive scenarios along with Barbarian Barrel and Skeleton Army. However, if a Valkyrie survives a defensive, that would be a golden opportunity for a counter-attack. So, it’s best to pair her with Baby Dragon or Wizard for aerial support.

1Wizard And Elixir Golem Deck

Distract With Miner, Push With Elixir Golem

Elixir Golem might give your opponent sheer Elixir advantage upon its death, but the card’s long survivability makes it best to lengthen your push period. With Elixir Golem pushing in the front, you should support it with Wizard and also distract the crown tower with the Miner. This will create a golden opportunity for Elixir Golem and Wizard to either have a successful attack or at least deny the possibility of a counter-attack from the opposing side.

Bomber and Tesla Tower will be your defensive units here. Deploy Bomber in the middle to force enemies to come in front of King’s Tower, and when Bomber is dead, deploy Tesla Tower near to the opposite side of the attack. This will trigger both your crown towers to focus shots on the main attacking unit of the opponent without spending much Elixir. Executioner can also be quite helpful in this situation.
