One of the major reasons whyChainsaw Manis so incredible is its different Devils and Devil Hunters with unique powers and devil contracts. While the main protagonist, Denji, uses chainsaw abilities, there are others who use the power of sharks, bombs, blood, dolls, and other fascinating things.

Previously, we prepared a list of themost powerful Chainsaw Man characters, which included different Devils and Devil Hunters combined. Now it’s time to throw some light on the most powerful Devil Hunters. While some of these hunters are introduced in the TV show, a few of them are yet to get animated.
Beam is a Public Safety Devil Hunter who is crazy about Chainsaw Man. He is his true devotee and could possibly do anything he tells him to do. Together with Chainsaw Man, Beam has done some crazy missions that could have possibly killed both of them. He has even served his blood to save Denji without thinking about his own life.
Being a Shark Fiend, Beam has shark-themed abilities, which give him immense biting power and the ability to swim through solid objects like walls and floors. In his full transformation, Beam completely transforms into a shark and grows fins, which he uses as legs.
Power is greedy, selfish, aggressive, thinks too much of herself, and she doesn’t hesitate to leave or change the team if she’s on the losing side. But, all these characteristics are what make her an interesting character. She is extremely powerful as well.
As a Blood Fiend, Power can manipulate anyone’s blood and nullify her enemy’s regenerative abilities by mixing her own blood with theirs. The same manipulation power allows her to create blood weapons like hammers and spears. Thousand Terra Blood Rain is one of her strongest attacks which allows her to create thousands of swords and spears and throw them at her enemies with great speed.
8Angel Devil
He might be a devil, but he’s one of the strongest Public Safety Devil Hunters. He lacks animosity toward humans, which makes him a unique case. That said, his devil side believes that humans ought to suffer and die in pain, but his angel side can be seen sympathizing with them. Angel Devil is extremely strong and could become even stronger, but his laziness hinders his progress.

His angelic wings are powerful enough to deflect gunfire, although he might suffer pain from the gunshot. His strongest attack is lifespan absorption, which allows him to absorb the lifespan of people just with simple physical contact. With the same absorbed lifespan, he can create lifespan weapons. The more the absorbed lifespan, the more dangerous the weapon becomes.
Kishibe is a tough guy with a stoic personality. He might sympathize with humans, but when it comes to devils, he kills them in the most brutal way possible. Denji and Power are exceptions among the devils, as he considers them his disciples and has been concerned about their safety on various occasions.
Kishibe is more about physical strength than devil powers. With a simple punch, he was able to break the weapon made with Power’s Blood. His speed and reflexes are far beyond that of normal humans as well. Kishibe is known to be in contact with Claw Devil, Knife Devil, and Needle Devil.
6Aki Hayakawa
Aki is one of the oldest characters in the series and one of the most trusted members of Makima’s special squad. Unlike most Devil Hunters, who fight Devils for worldly possessions, Aki fights them to save humanity. He especially hates the Gun Devil, who killed his family in childhood. Aki was able to survive that attack because he was away at that time.
Aki has contracts with Curse Devil, Fox Devil, and Future Devil. The power of Curse Devil activates when he points his nail at the target’s body and says the word “fire.” Doing so inflicts damage on his enemies. His contract with the Fox Devil activates by saying the word “Kon,” which summons a fox that tears the enemy apart. Future Devil gives him the power to look a few seconds into the future.
Also known as The First Devil Hunter, Quanxi is a Private Devil Hunter from China. Kishibe had feelings for her, but she rejected his offer and later revealed that she was interested in girls. She wears a patch on her right eye and shows no mercy to her enemies, but she deeply cares for her friends.
By pulling an arrow from her right eye, she transforms into hybrid form, and many arrows and spikes emerge from her body, which she shoots at high speed. Even if just her head is left, she can regenerate her entire body while she is in hybrid form. She is a master at using swords, and combined with her swift speed, she can kill hoards of enemies in a flash.
Reze is a Bomb Devil who made her first appearance in chapter 40. She was sent from the Soviet Union to Japan with the motive of stealing Denji’s heart. At first, she pretends to fall in love with Denji, but later she develops real feelings for him. Reze is the main antagonist of the Bomb Girl Arc.

Her speed and strength are far superior to Denji and most Devil Hunters. As she is a Bomb Devil, Reze can use her body parts as explosives which are powerful enough to destroy even large buildings. More interestingly, these explosions don’t harm her – she is able to quickly regenerate herself.
3Santa Claus
Santa Claus is the most mysterious character in the entire series. Everything known about them is just an assumption. As of now, Santa Claus is considered to be a woman who made contract with the Doll Devil, but the truth is unclear – the woman everyone talks about might be one of their dolls.
Their powers are truly insane. They can create minions by simply touching humans, and those minions can further create dolls by touching others. As their dolls can express emotions just like humans, they are known to create the perfect dolls. Santa Claus can transfer their consciousness into any of their dolls, making them immortal so long as any of their dolls remain alive.
At first glance, she might not seem like a major threat, but she was the major antagonist of the series who disguised herself as a Devil Hunter for a long time. She might seem polite and gentle, but views people as less than dogs, and she even considers Denji as her pet. She might be an antagonist, but her true goal was always to have something she could call family and be together with Pochita forever.

As a Control Devil, Makima has the ability to control anyone she considers inferior to herself. Even the Japanese prime minister is under her control. As all her victims are connected to her, she can use their powers, including animals, humans, fiends, devils, and hybrids. Her Force Manipulation technique gives her the ability to inflict damage on her target just by staring at them.
Finally, we have Denji, the main character of the series, who is undoubtedly the most powerful Devil Hunter in the series. Given his dark childhood, all he asked from life was good food and a decent life. But, the course of his life changed after meeting Pochita, the chainsaw devil, who saved him from dying.
Denji can turn his body parts into chainsaws by pulling the cord on his chest. The more blood in his body, the stronger his chainsaws become. After turning into Chainsaw Man, his power and durability increase multiple times over. He can also disconnect his chainsaws and use them to pull his enemies toward him. Denji is nearly immortal as he is a hybrid.
