Well, the ”Super Elections” survey that Capcom launched recently changed the balance in the gaming business. This may mean that some series may be revived, such as theResident Evilremake games that the studio has preferred in recent years. Yes, we’re talkingOkami,Dead Rising,Mega Man,DinoCrisis, and many more.

The studio’s effort to reward those who participated in this survey is also an indication that it’s on to something. Apparently, a reliable industry insider thinks so too, as he recently put forward a rumor that will exciteDino Crisisfans.
Industry Insider Reveals Capcom’s Effort to Revive Dino Crisis After Successful Resident Evil Remakes
You heard correctly.Dino Crisisis one of the standouts in the Super Elections survey, whereCapcompolls people about the series they want to see sequels or remakes of. Well, this survival horror and action-adventure series that made waves in the 2000s hasn’t been seen for about 21 years. Something is about to change here.
It Seems Capcom Could be Returning to the Dead Rising Franchise
Jeff Grubb, one of the most reliable sources in the gaming business, claimed that the Japanese studio was considering the creation of a newDino Crisis game. In fact, he said that it’s something it is actively doing. Furthermore, he also points out that he would not be surprised if this were the case and an addition arrived.
Grubb’s claim aligns with players’ expectations and reveals that the studio’s purpose in conducting this survey was to probe fan interest. Unfortunately, we still do not know whether the alleged game will be a sequel or a remake, like in theResident Evilseries.

Despite all of these, we have not yet received confirmation from the studio for a potential comeback or anything of the sort. However, folks believe that this series, just likeDead Rising, deserves another shot. Finally, until an official announcement is made, it’s wise to take all of this with a grain of salt.
What Did the Series Fail to Achieve?
This is one of the game series that the Japanese studio put on dusty shelves and has not been around since 2003. Yes, fans last experienced the third game in the series, which did not live up to the expectations of the studio and fans with its cloudy launch.

The reason behind the series being left to its fate appears to be the third game, which got a Metascore of 51, indicating a significant target miss.
Folks were particularly critical of the title’s camera system, saying that it made it impossible for survival horror fans to enjoy the game.

Yes, we should admit that it truly sparks curiosity among fans about how an addition to the series, made with today’s technology, would look on the new Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
