The hype continues to grow for the upcoming extraction-shooter,ARC Raiders, and after a very successful Tech Test 2, we’re getting to see a lot more gameplay previews.
Partnered Embark content creator Jinko has been posting Arc Raiders tips every day leading up to the game’s release, and there’s a lot of quality information that could give you a head start.
ARC Raiders Preview: A Rare Original Extraction Shooter
This game is exactly what the extraction genre has been crying out for.
Theories have been circulating about potentialARC Raider release dates, and withSummer Game Festjust around the corner,it’s possible Embark is ready for launch. DualShockers' own Alex Co says, “Given the state of the alpha test, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a shadowdrop of the game on the same day as its release date is announced.”

Jinko isn’t the only one sharing valuable information about the new dystopian game. DualShockers' Jaime Tugayev participated in Tech Test 2 and described the upcoming extraction-shooter as “beautifully unique” in theDualShockers preview of Arc Raiders.
“Based exclusively on my experience with Tech Test 2, I’d recommend this to anyone wanting a game that’s equal parts a dynamic third-person shooter and a work of art.”
ARC Raiders is all aboutscavenging and surviving in a post-apocalyptic worldfull of hostile robotic aliens, and other Raiders who could either help you, or kill you.
“The game doesn’t force you to kill other raiders, but the city is only paying the one bringing the goods, and in my experience,it didn’t take long for savagery to take over,” said Tugayev.
A post on Steam from ARC Raiders Executive Producer Aleksander Grøndal says Tech Test 2 was their largest test to date, and the feedback the testers have provided will help them greatly improve the game.
“There’s also a lot we can do to continue optimizing and balancing the experience. As we keep developing the game, we’re keen to deliver on a much expanded late-game experience, with deeper progression and extensive quests that take players across new locations — as well as a larger variety of ARC machines and other world-encounters, and some other improvements and surprises” (viaSteam)
ARC Raiders will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and could potentially become the gold standard forextraction shooters. Embark is a confirmed partner for the Summer Game Fest 2025, which takes place on June 6th, andfans are hopeful that an announcement could turn into a shadowdrop.
