Unlike most of the challenges where you need to build your own deck, the Classic Decks challenge inClash Royalealready have some decks, and you will be assigned to one of them randomely each time that you star a new match.
As a result, we can’t suggest you the best deck to pick as you are not allowed to customize your deck, but instead, we can tell you how to proceed with each deck and how to counter the enemy troops with each one of the classic decks.
The best part is that there aren’t many classic decks, which means you can quickly figure out your opponent’s full deck as soon as they start to use a few number of cards.
Now, without further ado, let’s jump straight to strategies for each one of the decks:
Spark The Goblin
One of the easiest strategies for this deck is to spawn goblin cage at the middle of your arena. When the goblin comes out, spawn your Sparky a little bit behind him, and then spawn the Electro Wizard behind Sparky. Now, you should wait for the enemy, and if they bring Minions or Barbarians, you can use your Snowball to damage them and push them away, which will allow Electro Wizard to finish them, while Goblin will take the hits at the front.
There is chance that this strategy gets countered by Fireball or Posion.
This is one of the hardest decks to play as most your troops are air troops, however, you can outsmart players using Lava Hound and Balloon. So, the best strategy is to keep Lava Hound for the latter half of the game when your Elixir production has been doubled. Spawn your Lava Hound at the end of your arena and then cover it with Barbarians on the ground when Lava Hound reaches the bridge. let the enemy use its cards to counter them, and once you are sure the opponent is at zero Elixir, spawn your Balloon on the other side of the arena and cover it with minions and zap/fireball.
There is a chance that you get countered by Inferno Tower if the opponent manages to keep it alive after your Barbarian attack.
Spell Bait
This is the only low-Elixir-cost deck among all, which means you really need to use each card carefully. In this deck, you will mostly put your focus on counter-attacks rather than full push. Thanks to the Goblin Barrel, you will have the opportunity to damage the opponent without even a heavy attack. But in case you have the chance for a full push, you can couple your Valkyrie with Princess, Ice Spirit, The Log, and Rocket. Use the Rocket to eliminate the giant enemy troops rather than damaging the crown towers.
Pigs on Parade
This is probably the easiest-to-use deck in the challenge. Stop the enemies from a push with the Goblin cage, and then spwan Mother Witch at the end of your arena, keep Fireball always ready at your deck to counter any big push from the opponent using low-health troops. Zappies will also be great to stop the any giant that tries to enter your territory.
This is a ground-focused deck and your most serious opponent will probably be LavaLoon, which is an air-focused deck. As a result, you always need to keep either Electro Wizard or Minions ready in your deck to counter any aerial push by the enemies. The best strategy for this deck is to couple your PEKKA with Electro Wizard in the latter half of the game, while keep Zap ready to target any low-health enemy.
Also, you can trick the enemies by faking a push with a PEKKA and an Electro Wizard on one side, and then revealing the real push with Battle Ram, Bandit, and Zap on the other hand.
Electro Giant Drill
The most difficult part with this deck is to make sure that Electro Wizard reaches the enemy tower with over half of his health. As a result, we suggest you to send a Dark Prince in front of Electro and also spawn a bomber behind the giant. Tornado will help you keep the aerial attacks away from the Electro Giant while Dark Prince is the main target for enemy troops.
Royale Giant Fisher
This is another easy deck in Classic Decks challenge in Clash Royale. Use your Fisherman only to distract the enemy’s giants. On the other hand, couple an attack with Royale Giant and Hunter. you’re able to keep serious threats away from the couple using Fireball and The Log.
Golem Beatdown
The only way to successfully beat your opponent with this deck is to push with the Golem and cover it massively, but it won’t be possible until the later half of the game. So, try to counter your enemy until the Elixir production is doubled, then spawn Golem at the end of your arena and cover it with a Baby Dragon on air and a Lumberjack on the ground. Make sure that Baby Dragon don’t gets too far away from Golem. Lumberjack should takes the hits first, then Golem, and then Baby Dragon. you may also use the spells when your Elixir is charged enough.
Keep in mind that the challenge features a death penalty. If you lose three times, you will be out of the challenge.
