However, reports fromThe New York Timeshave revealed that the filming was neglectful of the contestants’ needs and disorganized. There was a lack of timely meals and medical assistance, and contestants slept on turf floors in sleeping bags.

One of the participants revealed that they were offered a meal that only contained a few carrot sticks, a quarter cup of oatmeal, and a hard-boiled egg. The challenges were far too dangerous and taxing with some contestants even getting hospitalized during the shoots. All these claims suggest that MrBeast’s team made a clear lapse in their judgment, and were overwhelmed by their own ambitions.
A Spotlight on MrBeast’s Growing Controversies
MrBeastmastered the YouTube game, but his journey hasn’t been without criticism. In recent times, his reputation has taken quite a hit. Everything from his philanthropic practices to racially targeted jokes was scrutinized (viaTime).
