Arcane Acuity is apositive status effectgranted by a select few items (and an Elixir) in the game. What this condition does to a character is a bit hard to understand as it requires a little bit of knowledge of the underlyingD&Dmechanics.

What Is Arcane Acuity
When affected by Arcane Acuity, the character has+1 toSpellAttack Rollsand+1 to Spell Save Difficulty Classper turn remaining. This means that if you have Arcane Acuity for three turns, on your first turn, you’ll have +3 Spell Attack Roll and +3 Spell Save DC. On your second turn, this bonus will drop down to +2 (assuming you don’t refresh the Arcane Acuity status effect somehow) and then fall to +1 on your third turn, finally fading completing on the fourth turn of combat.
What Are Spell Attack Rolls
Spell Attack Rolls define how much damage your spell does. Without Arcane Acuity, the default formula for Spell Attack Rolls is"d20 +Ability Score Modifier+Proficiency Bonus", but with Arcane Acuity, the formula becomes"d20 + Ability Score Modifier + Proficiency Bonus + Arcane Acuity Stack". Ability Score Modifier depends on the class of the caster (Wizards use INT, Warlocks use CHA, and so on), and the Proficiency bonus for spellcasting is decided by the level of the caster. Higher-level casters deal more damage.
Simply put,Arcane Acuity adds +1 to every spell you throwout, depending on how many stacks of it you have.
What Is Spell Save Difficulty
Spell Save Difficulty Class is similar to Spell Attack Rolls, but it is used to defend against spells from other spellcasters. The formula for it is “8 + Spellcasting ability modifier + Proficiency bonus”. With Arcane Aquity, the final result of this formula is increased by+1 per turn remaining.
Increasing your ability to succeed inSaving Throwsis crucial to withstand spellfire from opposing spellcasters. Not all spells have a saving throw aspect but for those that do, having the option to halve the damage or to negate the spell effect outright can turn the fight completely.
How To Get Arcane Acuity
Multiple items in the game give the player Arcane Acuity.

If a character consumes the elixir, whenever they enter combat, they automatically get three stacks of Arcane Acuity. The effect lasts until the next Long Rest, meaning you can go through multiple fights during a single day and have the buff trigger at the start of every fight.
