Having a wide range of options in a game gives you a sense of freedom to choose how your builds work. This can be a very rewarding feeling and one that can lead to further enjoyment throughout your playthrough. Having the wrong pieces of gear can significantly reduce the effectiveness of your final result.

Armored Core 6has plenty of different parts fordifferent aspects of the game you should be aware of. One very important part to note is which booster you use. Boosters will allow you to perform many different actions. Depending on your playstyle, you will want the one that performs best in these areas.
12IB-C03B: NGI 001
Originally, the MULE was the lowest-ranking booster on this list, but with the inclusion of the remaining options, this prototype part has set a new standard for the bottom line of the internal component. You will want to upgrade from this part sooner rather than later as you progress through the game.
This part still delivers performance that is superior to the MULE, but with more than double the weight it greatly limits build potential. It has a Thrust of 6467, an Upward Thrust of 5501, a Quick Boost Thrust of 22200, a Weight of 1930, and an EN Load of 342.

11BC-0400 MULE
The BC-0400 MULE is near the bottom of this list due to its low-performance stats. It suffers low numbers in every area with its only redeeming feature being its low weight and low Energy Load. This will be good when you’re starting out, as it allows you to have a much lighter mech, and it will not sap all the power from your generator.
However, you will always fall short on performance. It has a Thrust of 5417, an Upward Thrust of 4434, a Quick Boost Thrust of 17500, a Weight of 970, and an EN Load of 200.

10BST-G1/P10
This will give you a bit more kick than the MULE. However, it has a higher weight that should be accounted for. In terms of EN Load, it is less demanding, which frees up resources in other areas. However, you will always fall short on performance.
It has a Thrust of 5734, an Upward Thrust of 4667, a Quick Boost Thrust of 17800, a Weight of 1300, and an EN Load of 130.

9AB-J-137 KIKAKU
Above the MULE is the AB-J-137 KIKAKU. This will consume more energy from your generator than the previous entry, and it is around double the weight. This means you will need to have a much more powerful mech by the time you start using it.
On the plus side, you will have higher performance in all areas. This Booster will let you move further faster when covering distance and dodging incoming attacks. It has a Thrust of 5667, an Upward Thrust of 4584, a Quick Boost Thrust of 19150, a Weight of 1820, and an EN Load of 266.

8BC-0200 GRIDWALKER
GRIDWALKER has enough extra Thrust and Upward Thrust to warrant it a place above KIKAKU — despite the added weight to this booster. While weight can limit build possibilities, what you get from this booster is a lot more maneuverability by simply dropping one of your back weapons to something less demanding.
It is also worth noting that the GRIDWALKER has less of an EN Load compared to KIKAKU. It has a Thrust of 6401, an Upward Thrust of 6334, a Quick Boost Thrust of 19000, a Weight of 2010, and an EN Load of 244.

7BC-0600 12345
Having a variety of booster choices in the early and mid-game is a lot more work to manage than late-game. Later, you will find plenty of clear winners, but when you are in the mid-game, changing a booster for something slightly worse can be a good call for other parts you may need. The BC-0600 12345 adds some good value for certain loadouts.
It has a Thrust of 5801, an Upward Thrust of 4700, a Quick Boost Thrust of 18900, a Weight of 1360, and an EN Load of 180.
6BST-G2 P04
This is a massive improvement over the KIKAKU. Not only are all of your performance stats going up, but this booster also cuts down on power consumption and weight. This means fewer resource-demanding mechs can use it, and resource-hungry mechs can allocate the space KIKAKU takes up into your other parts. You should cut out getting KIKAKU entirely and make this your next milestone when getting a better booster.

However, thanks to how the game’s shop works, you don’t need to worry about saving up for something better. You can get the KIKAKU and then sell it for the same price you bought it later. This is how you can try out loads of different builds and is essentially how you respec in the game. The BST-G2 P04 has a Thrust of 6001, an Upward Thrust of 4900, a Quick Boost Thrust of 20600, a Weight of 1710, and an EN Load of 250.
5BUERZEL 21D
This heavy piece of machinery will give you not much more bang for your buck than the BST-G2 P04. Even worse is the fact it has the highest energy consumption from any of the boosters, along with being the heaviest as well. While its performance in Thrust makes it ‘better’ than the other entries, it is very suboptimal for late-game.
Once you can afford it, you might find yourself better off using a weaker booster purely for the weight and energy limitations you will face using this one. However, if your mech does not use much energy — and you do not use your Quick Boost Thrust a thrust to dodge a lot — then this can be a means of having more forward Thrust to close distance for your current loadout. It has a Thrust of 6167, an Upward Thrust of 4834, a Quick Boost Thrust of 18050, a Weight of 2240, and an EN Load of 480.
4FLUEGEL 21Z
The FLUEGEL 21Z has less thrust than the BUERZEL 21D, but it sees a significant cut in its EN Load and Weight. This makes it much easier to slot into a mech you want to keep the damage high on. It also has a higher Quick Boost Thrust for dodging while opening fire on your targets.
The increase in Upward Thrust is higher, but you will rarely focus on that for the builds that this one will be most useful for. It has a Thrust of 6101, an Upward Thrust of 5134, a Quick Boost Thrust of 20000, a Weight of 1980, and an EN Load of 282.
3IA-C01B: GILLS
The IA-C01B: GILLS is the least impressive of the top 3 options available to you. It can outperform every other entry before it, but it does not perform the best in the two key areas that each of the top 2 entries dominate in. This is not something you will be able to handle until you are much further in the game with a more powerful generator.

Once you can afford this, it is worth slapping on. It has a Thrust of 6317, an Upward Thrust of 5001, a Quick Boost Thrust of 18850, a Weight of 1590, and an EN Load of 400.
