While sharing her thoughts on the dance routine, Tran claimed they worked really hard while preparing and that she really liked recreating the“Kiss the Girl”scene from the 2023The Little Mermaidmovie that featuredHalle Baileyand Jonah Hauer-King. But Tran might’ve slipped some extra information out. She said,
The Little Mermaid is such a beautiful movie and that scene is so beautiful. Its like it was nice to be transported actually to that lagoon rather than the lake we were at for our date…
Well, that’s exactly when Tran and Farber knew she revealed a bit too much during the comment as they exchanged awkward glances with each other. The reporter blatantly asked them if “there’s something to ship” but Farber casually brushed it off while redirecting the entire question to their dance performance.
