When Anthony Mackie made his Marvel debut, not many would have imagined that a decade down the line we would see him don the mantle of the nucleus of the Avengers – Captain America himself. Stranger things have happened though.

Truth be told, many would still find it hard to move on from the image of Chris Evans raising the Avengers battle cry. But the8 Milestar has bigger problems to deal with, including a rumor that is bogging the movie down.
Fans are skeptical aboutCaptain America: Brave New World
Last year,Captain America: Brave New Worldbegan making headlines around November for all the wrong reasons. Word had it that in the aftermath of dismal reviews from test screenings, the people in charge decided to make some changes.
Reports highlighted that the movie had undergone significant reshoots, with a scooper suggesting that they had gone as far as changing the ending itself, apart from other major elements. Only people who were in the know could have given some concrete information. AndAnthony Mackie, while admitting that there had been reshoots, played down the fact that they had a significant impact.

Back in November, the 46-year-old clarified,
It wasn’t retooled at all. […] Every Marvel movie I’ve done has done reshoots, so it’s not retooling or remaking. You basically get the movie and the story you want, you edit it together, then go back and shoot a few more scenes.(Game Rant)

Anthony Mackie has got a point. Re-shoots do go a long way in bringing a movie up to the mark. And ifThe Bankerstar’s testimony is anything to go by, the movie is the best it could be. He continued,
It’s literally the best movie it can be. It stays in the lines of Marvel. It stays in the lines of Captain America, and it’s fun and it’s big.
