Rumored to come out before the end of 2024, Shattered Space DLC just might be what the game needs to come out again on the top.
What Do We Know AboutStarfield’sShattered Space DLC And Its Expected Release Date So Far
Fans got to know more about the upcoming extension for the game via theStarfieldEnd of the Year updateblog post. While the post was mostly filled with the achievements surrounding how far the game has come, it also included an announcement unveiling how a new DLC titled Shattered Space is under development.

The post also reveals how the expansion will bring the player new story content, new locations, new gear, and much more. The DLC will be made available to those who own the game’s premium and constellation editions at no cost, as it is included in the pack where it was first teased. Unfortunately, those who own the base game would need to potentially pay more out of their pockets if they would like to access the expansion.
There is no official announcement for the DLC’s release date yet, however, a recent update onStarfield’sSteam backend has got fans excited as an unknown file was uploaded on February 28. While nothing remains confirmed, this just might mean the developers are getting ready to prepare for the DLC’s testing and release soon by possibly uploading it on the game’s official Steam page.
Why PS5 Players Will Be Potentially Losing Out On A Great Experience
With amazing exclusives being released on both Xbox and PlayStation every single month, the difference between the player base keeps growing. The process has been accelerated ever since the exclusive release ofHelldivers 2on PS5 back in February, which has prompted Xbox fans to look forward to an upcoming title, Jump Ship, which is called to be ahealthy mix ofSea of ThievesandHelldivers 2.
Unfortunately, it is not only Xbox players that are missing out, as the release ofStarfield’sShattered Space will remain exclusive to Microsoft’s platform and PC. One might wonder ifStarfieldcan be still released on PlayStation considering how Xbox is soon bringing 4 of its exclusives to other platforms, which is unfortunately a theory that has already beendebunked by the CEO of Xbox, Phil Spencer.
