Amy Hennig Decided To Cut Some Villains From HerStar WarsGame

In 2019, Amy Hennig appeared for an interview with Eurogamer. During the conversation, Hennig talked about her time at Visceral Games while working onProject Ragtag.Asthe creator of theUnchartedseries, she felt that the genre of theStar Warsfranchise was very similar toUncharted’s, but she had a different approach to this one thing,

I realized a couple of things: if we were going to make a Star Wars story, a lot of it would look and feel like Uncharted because it’s in the same genre. But we needed to cut away to the villains, for one thing, which was something I never allowed us to do on Uncharted. If you look at those films, you don’t really cut away from what Indy knows. There’s a few exceptions but you’re more or less with him the whole time. And Star Wars, not only do we cut between villains but we also cut between multiple protagonists.

By taking this approach, Hennig would’ve certainly caused some debates among theStar Warscommunity. However, it doesn’t mean that the game would’ve been a failure. The success of theUnchartedseries proves that Hennig is an experienced individual in this field.
