As a father, a dimension rarely explored for Clark Kent in live-action settings, Hoechlin shined to bring a new, fatherly dimension to Superman, that could realistically delve into the struggles that Kal-El would face as a father with a family that is not as equipped with powers as he is.

Should there be aKingdom Comelive-action series over at The CW, Tyler Hoechlin more than deserves to take the role. Having Hoechlin play a more mature version of the Man of Steel, having retired from superheroing, and somewhat discontent with the state of affairs, would be just as brilliant as his other portrayals of the character.
