Bandai Namco Entertainment’s aerial dogfighting game Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has now surpassed six milllion units sold across all platforms.
The news was announced by Bandai Namco via a press release where the company also announced the ongoing sale of the combat flight sim.

Ace Combat 7 Continues To Soar High After More Than Five Years Of Availability
According to Bandai Namco, the sales milestone for Ace Combat 7 includes both physical and digital versions, and this brings the total worldwide sales of the Ace Combat franchise to over 20 million units sold.
To further fuel more copies sold, Bandai Namco now has a massive sale on the game! The PC (via Steam) and PS4 versions are at 80% off for a limited time.
If you’re new to the franchise, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a combat flight sim where players take on the role of a pilot. Players can take to the skies flying freely in 360 degrees around a graphic square where they will take on enemies. Bandai Namco says that for Ace Combat 7, developer Project Aces, created the game “under the theme of ‘Sky Innovation’ to depict the expanse of clouds that fill the sky in three dimensions and the finely rendered terrain and landscape.
In addition, the new tactical strategy of crossing in and out of the clouds and up and down allows players to enjoy more strategic and exciting air battles and the most fascinating aerial battles and sense of speed in the series' 28-year history.”
