One of the most praised aspects ofAssassin’s Creedtitles is the historical accuracy wherever possible. Despite one of the protagonist in the upcoming titleAssassin’s Creed Shadowsbeing a point of controversy, Ubisoft’s work on history in some of the games has been spot on.

Yasuke is believed to be of African origin and was a samurai during the 16th century. He is also believed to the first-ever outsider to be granted warrior status in Japan. However, since the game is in Japan, fans wanted a Japanese character not a character with African origin.
TheAssassin’s Creedtitles are fiction but are also inspired by true historical events. One player recently took to the game’s subreddit and asked the community what they think about the historical accuracy in these games and which game they think is the most rich in history.

They added that Assassin’s Creed 3, Unity, and Mirage were the best titles in terms of historical accuracy. Assassin’s Creed 3 showed important moments and figures of the American Revolution, Unity brilliantly depicted Paris during the French Revolution, calling the design of the city,“probably the most accurate city Ubisoft has ever created.”
History Depicted in These Games Have Helped Fans in Real Life
The user saidMirage‘s depiction of 9th Century Baghdad and the Abbasid Empire as well as the detailed codex written by real historians was worthy of praise as well. These are just some of the times that Ubisoft has nailed the settings of the game and how to portray them.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is Offering a Chance to do Something Ubisoft Never Has
A large number of fans have said that the games have helped them during their school and college days. One fan said,“AC2 and Brotherhood got me an A+ on a History essay.”
They said that they had an assignment about the Renaissance and the games helped them complete it, accurately. Ubisoft spends a lot of time in research about the time period that a game is being set to get things accurate.

This can be seen in several of its titles such as the recreation of Ancient Egypt inOrigins, Greece inOdyssey, and other titles too in whichever way it was possible. It is important to know that these games are not one hundred percent accurate but they do portray some events and characters pretty well.
