Considering how Ms. Marvel was changed into Captain Marvel, and now Ms. Marvel is Kamala Khan, it would not be far-fetched to assume that she was talking about Carol Danvers. The comment ended up igniting a spark among fans, who desperately wanted the actress to play the character.
