Kingdom Heartshas been around for twenty years. In those 20 years, they’ve brought about manyDisneyworlds for players to explore. A lot of them allow players to experience Disney worlds in ways many people never knew they’d be able to. Most of the worlds that the games offer give off a lot of charm in their presentation. Some worlds fall flat of what was expected from the world that was created.
This list will bring forth all of the best worlds in the Kingdom Hearts series. These will be based on the aesthetic of the world as well as what interesting aspects the world brings into the series.

1010/10The Grid - Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
Tron’s world in Kingdom Hearts3D: Dream Drop Distance takes from the concept that was inKingdom Hearts 2and expands on it. The use of the game’s flow mechanics in the large Neon areas allows the player to explore their attack options.
The light cycles segment that the area has is a wonderful way to introduce players to the map with Riku’s characters. The map and outfit design are really flashy, but the map doesn’t have a lot of variability with a bright yet dull backdrop.

99/10Halloween Town - Kingdom Hearts 2
Halloween Town in Kingdom Hearts 2 is a perfect mesh of creepy and cute. It combines elements of Halloween Town and the Yuletide area that’s where Santa lives. The contrast is very apparent with Sora, Donald, and Goofy having outfits that are unique to the map.
The concept is fun, but there does seem to be a lot missing as out of all of the worlds that the game has this one seems to be one of the shortest leaving players a little let down that there wasn’t more to explore in the concept.

88/10Hollow Bastion - Kingdom Hearts
Hallow Bastion has the perfect set-up for an end-game world. It’s a world that is completely unique to the Kingdom Hearts series. The player starts off in a watery area where they can walk on water and have to jump on top of floating platforms. All of this is an entry to the actual floating castle that is Hollow Bastion. It looks and plays like an evil lair.
Some of the assets that the map uses can feel a little repetitive in some rooms, but that doesn’t stop it from encapsulating players.

77/10Timeless River - Kingdom Hearts 2
Timeless River is conceptually genius as it has players going back to the original Micky Mouse days. The level gives characters of the game such as Mickey Mouse a back story. It’s smart as it gives way for players to look into characters’ pasts.
The art style’s also unique as players look like 1920s cartoons. This world has players completing different minigame-like challenge battles that add some variety to the gameplay. These can be a little difficult but are also rewarding.

66/10 Symphony of Sorcery - Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
What Symphony of Sorcery does in terms of its design is magical in a lot of ways. The characters are transported to a lush world where they’ll be walking on clouds. The enemies also make instrumental sounds when hit that goes along with the beautiful orchestral music that accompanies the world.
The areas are lively with places that look like a fall afternoon taken by storms. The color palette is stunning and unforgettable. The one thing that feels out of place is the flat walls around some of the areas.
55/10Radiant Garden - Kingdom Hearts 2
Radiant Garden is one of the main areas in Kingdom Hearts 2. Players are going to be in and out of Radiant Garden throughout the entirety of the game. The great thing about that is that Radiant Garden is a bewitching place to be. Technically, Radiant Garden is Hollow Bastion, but in this game, it works more like a city that chaos surrounds.
There are plenty of entries to other worlds here and some of the best giant battles that Kingdom Hearts has to offer. Overall, Radiant Garden is a kind of nontechnicalhub worldof Kingdom hearts 2 with a lot going on.
44/10Deep Jungle - Kingdom Hearts
Deep Jungle in Kingdom Hearts is not the longest level that the game puts forward. What it does do is give players an immersive Tarzan jungle experience. Every single zone that the player walks into is unique in itself.
There’s an area with hippos where the player must jump on them at the right time. Deep Jungle also presents an area where the player has to swing on vines and it can be returned for a minigame. This area also has one of thebest minigamesin the series where players grind down through the forest on a tree. Even though it’s one of the first worlds, the world is full of vibrant details.
33/10The Caribbean - Kingdom Hearts 3
The Caribbean inKingdom Hearts 3gives anyone who liked the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie a chance to go through it in a wild anime boat fighting style type of way. Players will have their pirate ship doing insane aerial moves while fighting other ships.
This world has so many layers that any Kingdom Hearts fan will be excited to play with. There are swimming mechanics and air combat on top of the ship combat. Everything works and sailing to new Islands to explore adds a level of adventure to everything.
22/10 Pride Lands - Kingdom Hearts 2
Pride Lands has some of the best transformations in-game as everyone turns into an animal version of themselves. Sora turns into a lion cub and this completely changes the way in which the game’s played. The areas are a lot more open than before as the combat becomes quicker with Sora’s newfound lion abilities.
There are a lot of memorable areas here from the movies that feel brought to life such as the bustling Oasis and the eerie Elephant Graveyard.
11/10Olympus - Kingdom Hearts 3
Olympus was one of the first worlds showcased for Kingdom Hearts 3. It holds up to everything that players expected. The world opens up combat more than any other game has done letting players know that the adventure they’re about to embark on will be one that’s large in scale. The destroyed backdrop of a city, as well as the large beautiful mountainous grassy side areas, enchant the player.
Stylistically this map is perfect and the variety that it has up until the final area of Olympus makes for an awe-inspiring spectacle. Using it as the player’s tutorial makes learning the game feel big as the player scales the mountain while learning everything in the hopes of defeating the elemental titans.
